Diagnosis
The symptoms of Obstructive Sleeping Apnea is detected by both clinical symptoms and the results of a overnight Polysomnographie Sleep Study Test at patient’s home by an inhalothrerapist. This helps to ascertain the most appropriate treatment for the patient. The result will be analyzed by a Respiratory Medical Doctor (Pnumologist) specialized in OSA.

General Behavioral Measures

- Avoid alcohol within two to three hours of bedtime
Continuos positive airway pressure (CPAP)
CPAP prevents the soft tissues of the upper airway from narrowing and collapsing, and a Titration as complimentary test will be a great behaviour for result.
Dental appliance therapy as bringing the lower jaw forward, by holding the tongue forward and by lifting a drooping soft palate. Dental appliances are small, custom made with 2 mouth guards, easy to wear. The treatment is reversible and non invasive.
